Say goodbye to scammers

With call blocking, you can add specific numbers to a block list. This ensures that you only receive the calls that matter most to you and your business.

But Chalkboard's call-blocking feature isn't just about blocking unwanted calls – it's also about protecting your privacy and security. With our app, you can block calls from scammers and even robocalls. This can help to reduce the risk of fraud and protect your personal information.

How does Chalkboard's call blocker work?

FAQs: Call blocking

What is call blocking?

Call blocking is a feature that is available in most business phone systems that automatically block phone calls from unwanted numbers.

How do I block phone calls?

Want to block those pesky phone calls for good? No problem!

Most phones come with a built-in call-blocking feature, so you can easily add those unwanted numbers to your blocked caller list. The next time they call, they'll hear a busy signal briefly and you will say goodbye to those unwanted calls.

What’s the difference between blocking a number and blocking a contact in Chalkboard?

Occasionally, you might want to stop a saved contact in your phonebook from being able to reach you rather than just deleting the number(s).

Chalkboard enables you to block an entire contact in one go so that if there are multiple numbers saved, you can apply a block to all. Simply head to your Phonebook, select the relevant contact, choose if you want to retain the message and call history and then select the Block button. That’s it!

Can I contact someone that's blocked on Chalkboard?

No, you won’t be able to make calls or messages unless you unblock the number. However, you can easily unblock a number in your Chalkboard phonebook.
